Unbiased AI Lab is founded to eliminate the harms of biased AI and unleash the full potential of Black talent and innovation in the AI economy.
Our vision is an inclusive AI ecosystem where racial bias is actively mitigated, diverse perspectives are centered in AI development, and Black communities have equal access to the economic and societal benefits of AI.
What the problems are
AI bias discriminates against Black communities in hiring, lending, healthcare, and more. Lack of diversity in AI excludes Black perspectives, and unequal access to AI education limits opportunities for Black talent.
Why it exists and matters
Historical inequities and lack of diversity embed bias in AI. Homogeneous teams and insufficient community input overlook Black experiences, amplifying racial disparities and eroding public trust. Addressing this is vital for inclusive AI benefits.
